In all my days I been on this here earth things have been a changin’.

Some of those things that changed I wasn’t very happy with. But that didn’t stop them from changing. Because the only constant is change and no matter how much we want to remain comfortable and relaxed in our bed of familiarity, we can’t.

Acceptance is the key to prospering forward in this life. Accept the change and accept the unfamiliar. The unfamiliar may have what you have been in search of to get your ass out of that dirty, old, comfortable bed.

On getting older

Old people are so wise.

Let me rephrase that, my grandmother is so wise. I learned a few things today.

-Life is too short to work

-Trying to control situations and/or people ages you

-Some people will never change

-Wearing name brand doesn’t make you cool, the label is hidden anyway

-I need to eat more fruits and vegetables for my rectum’s sake

-Fishing gear is a must for Catalina

-Eye cream is essential

- I need to accept that my family has problems

-My gambo is radical

Today was a much needed day.

Just the beginning

It’s been a long time since i’ve wrote and it’s long overdue. There are things I used to do when I was younger that I have lost along my journey. This coming summer is all about regaining those lost hobbies and also picking a few others up.

-Play guitar until my fingers bleed

-Reconnect with the keyboard until I can’t see straight

-Learn some italian until my tongue goes numb

-WRITE!

-Sing until I puke

-Sew until I have a homemade wardrobe

-Paint until my walls are covered
